Live Music in Venice Restaurants and Pubs

If you like Jazz, you’ll love Paradiso Perduto, on the Fondamenta della Misericordia in Cannaregio, is a cozy osteria and jazz club which hosts a different group performing live music every Monday evening. The restaurant is usually fully booked, so we suggest you reserve a table in advance if you’d like to hear the music while having a lovely dinner. Otherwise, you can also enjoy a Venetian spritz while standing and dancing. Paradiso Perduto is open every day except for Tuesday and Wednesday from September until the mid of July. Osteria Da Filo (at Santa Croce 1539) is another good alternative to enjoy live music on Wednesday nights. It is a very popular Venetian Bar where you can find traditional wines and home-made cocktails. They are hosts jazz groups from around the world from September to June every Wednesday evening. Live Music at Private Clubs

Venice Jazz Club (Dorsoduro 3102) is a unique jazz and supper club in Dorsoduro with a program of blues and jazz live music shows from September to June. The club hosts some of the best musicians from around Venice. They are often joined by special guests to organize special evenings where music is the main attraction .The atmosphere of the club is very cozy and informal. You can buy tickets online for such special shows, either just for the concert or also for dinner. The dinners are a set menu from 7:30-9:00 pm at a set price of 20 euro per person (includes the show), which includes 1 drink, and the shows always go from 9:00-11:00 pm.


Teatro La Fenice (San Marco 1965) is the historical opera house founded in Venice 1792. Today it is recognized as one of the most important theatres in the history of Italian culture. If you like opera, you should definitely book your ticket at La Fenice to enjoy Giuseppe Verdi’s La Traviata or Rossini’s The Barber of Seville!
